What are the requirements for E-1 Treaty Trader Visa?

• You must be a citizen of the Treaty country.

• The trade must be substantial.

• The trade must be principally between the United States and the Treaty country. It means more than 50% of the trade must be happening between the U.S and the Treaty country.

• The trade means international exchange of technology, services or products.

• You must be an important and essential employee or have to possess highly specialized skills that are necessary for effective operation of the enterprise.

How to apply for E-1 Treaty Trader Visa?

There are several steps that you have to follow in order to apply for E-1 Treaty Trader Visa.

You must complete “Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application, Form DS-160”.

You have to gather necessary documents like “nonimmigrant visa application, form DS-160, confirmation page”.

“Nonimmigrant Treaty Trader Application, Form DS-156E”.

“Photo”; and

Other necessary corporate documentation including Operating Agreement, Certificate of Incorporation, Bylaws, Business Contracts with vendors, Bank statements, etc.
