A provider of health insurance plans and related healthcare benefits for Medicare, individual or group health insurance needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Clinical Guidance Consultant in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
Assisting in provider education around medical records clinical issues/questions
Serving as the expert in medical and health administration research for the clinical research
Providing regular, comprehensive summaries of critical literature findings and national guidelines that will assist in the development and support of clinical programs
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Associate's or bachelor's in nursing (RN or LPN)
Active LPN/RN in state of residence and can work without restrictions
Proven successful experience in completing efficient health-related research, with associated analysis and conclusions
If not a certified coder upon hire, the expectation is that you will obtain a coding certification within a year of employment in the role
Excellent PC skills (including MS Word, Excel and Access) required.
