The
Connected Vehicle Trade Association, Inc. (CVTA), the world’s
largest and preeminent business league in vehicle communications, today
announced that Terry Hughes, Managing Director of AppCarousel,
has been elected to be a Member of the CVTA Board of Directors.
AppCarousel has also joined CVTA as a Corporate Member. CVTA is an
industry organization whose members work to promote the deployment of
Connected Vehicle solutions for safety, mobility, convenience and
commercial applications.
Hughes has been in the wireless and technology industries for over 25
years in North America and Europe. In 2011, Hughes founded and launched
the AppCarousel brand and platform. AppCarousel is the leader
in end-to-end app management and monetization platforms for IoT and
connected car. Hughes was responsible for AppCarousel’s ground-breaking deal
with Jaguar Land Rover where AppCarousel provides and operates a

content over the air to Jaguar Land Rover’s vehicles. Hughes is a
well-known thought leader, often presenting at conferences and writing
op-eds.
