DURHAM, N.C., Dec. 06, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — New Hope Animal Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, recently welcomed Dr. Robyn Hahn, DVM, to its veterinary staff. Dr. Hahn graduated from the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She has extensive experience working with a variety of animals, including horses, cats and dogs. Prior to obtaining her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Hahn attended UNC-Chapel Hill and completed her Masters Degree in Immunology. She spent 5 years practicing equine medicine in Virginia, prior to returning to North Carolina to practice small animal medicine.

New Hope Animal Hospital is excited to welcome Dr. Robyn Hahn to their team of caring staff. Dr. Hahn is a self-professed animal lover, stating that, “I am so happy to work in this field. It is very fulfilling to be able to help families keep their pets healthy and navigate their care when they are not. I can’t imagine doing anything else with my life, and I’m honored to be part of the team at New Hope Animal Hospital.”

When Dr. Hahn isn’t performing veterinary services for the residents of Durham and Chapel Hill, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and pets. She has two cats named Mellow and Meow Meow, a whippet dog named Hamish, and a Hungarian warm-blood horse named HS Brav-o. Dr. Hahn rides competitively at the FEI level with HS Brav-o in dressage.

To date, Dr. Hahn has received a warm welcome from her coworkers and local pet owners. “Dr. Hahn has been a great addition to our hospital, and we’re lucky to have her,” says Dr. Soren Windram, the owner of New Hope Animal Hospital. “Her compassionate, easy-going personality helps her get along equally well with humans and four-legged friends. She really takes the time to listen to what’s going on with a pet before she makes any recommendations for treatment, and she has a gentle touch that helps animals relax while they are under her care.”

Pet owners who wish to schedule an appointment with Dr. Hahn or contact her with questions or concerns can reach her by calling New Hope Hospital at 919-490-2000. If Dr. Hahn is unavailable, pet owners can leave a message for non-urgent matters or speak with one of the other veterinarians from the practice.

New Hope Animal Hospital provides vaccinations, dental care, surgical procedures, grooming and boarding services for animals of all ages. The hospital offers appointments 6 days a week, from Monday through Saturday, for standard procedures. New Hope Animal Hospital also offers daytime emergency care.
