EC-Council will host its first ever executive conference outside of the United States, the Global CISO Summit India, in Pune, India, continuing its tradition of highly successful events.

Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) March 02, 2015

With the theme of “Innovating Skills Developing Capacity In Infosec” EC-Council’s first executive event located outside of the US is shaping up to be the must-attend conference of the year in India. Although there are many executive conferences in India, the July 11, 2015 EC-Council Global CISO Summit India stands apart from the crowd by being a closed-door, invitation only event – meaning high-level executives can feel comfortable discussing their biggest challenges and learn from their peers strategies to overcome them.

The event is being organized by EC-Council staff working closely with a board of advisors – advisors that represent some of the highest-level information security professionals in India. The committee will steer content toward the challenges they themselves face to ensure the event is the best value possible for executives at their level. EC-Council CISO, or Chief Information Security Officer, events focus on the management of information security as oppose to highly technical topics.

With the theme of the event focusing on developing infosec capacity in India and beyond, the conference is set to tackle one of the biggest challenges facing the industry today – the lack of focus on security. A variety of panels, round table discussions, and keynotes will expound on different facets of this problem – from managing and retaining talent, to making and keeping infosec a boardroom-level concern for companies in all industries.

The executive conference will also mark the debut of one of EC-Council’s newest programs: the Certified CISO Program. The three days prior to the conference (July 8 – 10) will be the Master version of the CCISO course. The CCISO course is for current and aspiring CISOs and infosec managers to learn the mot current methods and frameworks for keeping their organizations secure.
