announce Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) has selected Efforts
to Outcomes (ETO®) software to support its Local Interagency
Coordinating Council (LICC), a multi-agency collaborative initiative
managed by Anne Arundel County Public Schools and the Anne Arundel
County Partnership for Children, Youth Families.
The ETO platform will support AACPS’ efforts to develop a centralized
referral process and data management system to serve children ages 0-5
with developmental disabilities and delays in Anne Arundel County. ETO
will transform the system into one that is efficient, easy to access,
family friendly and guided by family needs.
Marcella Franczkowski, Maryland’s Assistant State Superintendent for
Special Education and Early Intervention, said that “This project is
family-centered and features an enhanced level of collaboration among
multiple public and private agencies that serve young children with
disabilities and special health care needs. We anticipate that this
endeavor will have significant state and national implications in the
design and delivery of outstanding services to children and families.”
The project, which is funded by the Maryland State Department of
Education and the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, will
be first piloted in the Georgetown East Elementary School community.
