The UAE delegation visiting India arrived to a ceremonial welcome at the official residence of the President in New Delhi.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, was received by senior government officials, and presented with a guard of honour.
His Highness also paid his respects at the memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi.
A number of agreements are expected to be signed later, following talks between Sheikh Mohamed and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Sheikh Mohamed will be the guest of honour at India’s annual Republic Day parade on Thursday.
