The talented Kanye West frequently makes bizarre or arrogant statements and this time he bashed on Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh. Not very smart, because Hsieh whooped Kanye’s ass.

Kanye West Insults Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh
West took aim at Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh during a podcast interview with author Bret Easton Ellis this week. Ellis and West, who are working on a movie together, got on the subject of fashion, and West relayed a story about an encounter with Hsieh.
In the interview West stated:
“I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he’s trying to tell me what I need to focus on. Meanwhile, he sells all this sh*t product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling sh*t product.”

Zappos responded witty and clever by tweeting a link to a page on their site that included a picture of the types of “sh*t product” that Zappos offers.
My Opinion?
Kanye West is a very talented music star. But sometimes he can be a bit arrogant. And that might be understatement of the year.
I do hope that the Zappos reply makes Kanye a bit more humble sometimes. Why? A global music star doesn’t always need to be that cocky.
Besides that, maybe not the most clever strategic move to bash social miracle Tony Hsieh?
I guess I like Pharrell’s world’s first 24 hour music video better.
