I couldn't believe my luck when I discovered an amazing antique book of biographies from 1873 - it was literally falling apart, but I was able to save a lot of the gorgeous steel engraved portraits that were inside! The paper is thick and has that aged beige patina to it, and the pages are all single sided.
There are a few that have discolored edges or a few spots here and there, but overall they are in great condition for being over 130 years old! They would be perfect to frame, or to use in your next collage or other altered art project!
The full page size is around 8.25"x10.75", though the margins may vary a little depending on how much trimming I had to do. The image area on most of them measures around 5.5"x7.5", with a reproduction of the person's signature underneath the portrait.
