Instead of looking for a craft project for Sunday's lesson for the 3/4 year olds, I'm here reading blogs and messing around on the commuter.

Its going to be a good lesson.  Psalm 91 is one of my favorite psalms.  It talks a lot about God's protection.  I found a book through Amazon, My Own Psalm 91 Book, to have as the lesson at church on Sunday.  l just need to find a craft project.

Instead of writing a letter of goodbye to the children's minister who is moving across the country in a few weeks and Sunday will be her last Sunday, I'm messing around on the computer.  I know I'll cry when I'm writing it and I know I'll miss her and her family greatly.  But its a good thing for her and her family, and its God's will, so it really will be okay.

However, I have gotten some things done tonight.  I got my shopping list and meal plans ready for next week and our shopping trip tomorrow.  One day I might blog my meal planning to share and get other's meal plans to see if I can streamline things a bit.

I won't have time to work on a craft project or the letter tomorrow night since we're going to see a play that the children's minister's daughter is in at the local Christian Youth Theater.  It should be a good performance and we liked the Sound of Music production we saw a few months ago.  It will be her farewell performance here, but will connect with Christian Youth Theater where she is moving to.  We're bringing her some flowers.

I'm about ready to go and help son make potato salad for a gathering he's going to tomorrow, but he just told me he's going to grab a quick shower, so instead, I'm still here playing around on the computer.

I downloaded an eBook to son's tablet for me to read/review but now I can't figure out how to open it or get into it.  Instead of trying to figure that out, I'm playing around on the computer.

I'm sure eventually I'll figure it out.

However you spend this weekend, do take at least a few minutes to remember those who were willing to give of their lives to protect our freedom.

And be safe out there.

Now off to make potato salad, find a craft, write a letter, and figure out how to open up that book, and its 10:15 p.m. here.  Wonder how much I'll actually get done..........
