The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the Uttar Pradesh Election Schedule 2017. The ECI declared to conduct the election session in the five states including Uttar Pradesh. The Chief Election Commissioner, Nasim Zaidi declared that the model code of conduct shall be implemented which every political member must follow.
Uttar Pradesh, being the largest state of nation is certainly a crucial task for ECI. The Election Commission on 4th January declared that polling session in the state of Uttar Pradesh will be accomplished in seven phases. These phases will be conducted on different dates covering different regions.

UP Vidhan Sabha Election schedule 2017 – First phase will be conducted on the 11th of February 2017. Other phase are 15, 19, 23 and 27th February and 4th March 2017. The final phase will be accomplished on the 8th of March 2017.
There a total of 403 seats that will be vacant on 27th May due to end of term of office. New members for these 403 constituencies will be elected once the election will be accomplished.
