In this video he talks bout the usefulness of a Claw Hammer in a Bug Out Bag, Get Home Bag, or other Survival Kit bag. The claw hammer has a ton of uses that I can think of aside from the obvious it could also be used to enter an abandoned building, break into a car or house to get supplies, poke a hole in a gas tank to borrow gasoline, dig a seepage well to get water, to break ice on a frozen lake to get water, to dispatch animals still alive in a trap or snare, as a weapon, etc. What else can you think of to use a claw hammer for?

Who am I? I ( JJ Johnson ) am a former active duty USAF SERE Instructor. What is a SERE Instructor? SERE stands for Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape.
