You see, a dog will always want to rush in and gobble up whatever you give them, unless - ofcourse - you teach them otherwise. You want a dog with class? A patient pet that doesn’t rattle you in front of friends when given some food? Teach them something cool about “table” manners!
In the clip here, Victoria Stilwell will show you how to go about this. The trick is to let the animal realize the benefits of waiting for the command to eat. Let them realize that breaking the rules gets them in your bad book and they lose something. Little-by-little, the dog learns. Great!
