Founded in 1981 by Bob Page, a former North Carolina state auditor and weekend flea-market enthusiast, Replacements, Ltd., has grown into the world’s pre-eminent resource for both old and new pieces of beloved family china and fine dinnerware. 
More than four hundred individual brush marks were applied by hand to form the floral-bouquetand- fruit-basket ornamentation for Lenox’s Autumn pattern originally produced in 1966. Georgetown stemware from Lenox Crystal and Wedgwood flatware from International Silver provide opulent accents.
Replacements, Ltd., located in Greensboro, North Carolina, houses an astounding anthology of china, crystal, silver, and tableware. The inventory includes 13 million pieces, 390,000 patterns, and 60,000 shelves amidst a half million square feet of warehouse space. Many visitors are overjoyed when united with pieces that match their treasured family china, such as the Italian Renaissance–inspired Florentine motif in Turquoise from Wedgwood, above, produced from 1931 to 2012. Handling up to three thousand requests weekly, the research department at Replacements offers pattern identification free of charge. Customers can register online and receive e-mail updates as pieces become available.
