The final Defender has arrived.
In anticipation for the series premiere next month, Netflix provides Marvel fans with another peak at the forthcoming Netflix Original series ‘Iron Fist’. The first full length trailer follows last October’s New York Comic Con teaser and provides us our best look yet at Iron Fist himself, Danny Rand.
For those unfamiliar with Iron Fist, the new series will follow the latest superhero in Marvels connected universe. Check out a brief synopsis below:
“Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.”
‘Iron Fist’ follows Netflix’s previous original series ‘Daredevil’, ‘Jessica Jones’ and ‘Luke Cage,’ all based on Marvel properties of the same name. Together, Iron Fist, Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage make up the superhero team called the Defenders, which is scheduled to have its own Netflix series later this year.
‘Iron Fist’ stars Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick and Rosario Dawson and will be available to stream in full on March 17. Until then, watch the latest trailer above and the previous trailer below.
