For decades, Converse has maintained a reputation for being worldwide fashion icons. The brand recently announced their Rubber Tracks “global takeover,” which is expanding their cultural influence to up-and-coming music scenes all over the world by providing once-in-a-lifetime recording opportunities to selected artists. The announcement also included the opening of a brand new Rubber Tracks studio in Boston.

The company selected 84 developing artists from 28 countries out of 9,000 applicants to send to 12 world-famous recording studios around the globe, to work alongside some of the best producers and engineers in the business. Studios include Abbey Road Studios in London, Sunset Sounds in Los Angeles, Studios 301 in Sydney, and Toca do Bandido in Rio de Janeiro.

Among the 84 artists are Boston-based Worshipper and Verge Campus veteran Aziz The Shake.
