We all love crepes. They’re just so simple to make and eat, and there are so many great recipes just for crepes. Not to mention they can be either a delicious lunch or a savory dessert. Which is why we decided to find some of the best crepe recipes out there for you to try! Although lunch recipes for crepes are just as delicious we decided to focus on the dessert oriented crepes since they looked so nice and sweet! Scroll down to check out the recipes we found.

Cherry and Orange Crepes
Basic Crepe Ingredients:

1 Cup of All Purpose Flour

2 Teaspoons of Sugar

1/4 Teaspoon of Salt

1 Cup of Milk

1/2 Cup of Water

2 Teaspoons of Melted Butter

2 Large Eggs

Basic Crepe Instructions:

1) In a small bowl combine the: flour, sugar, and salt. In a blender put together the: milk, water, melted butter, and eggs. Then combine the flour mixture to the milk mixture.

2) Blend together the mix until smooth. Once the mix is smooth cover it and let it chill for about 1 hour.

3) Heat a crepe pan OR place an 8 inch skillet over a medium heat. Pour in about 1/4 cup of the batter into the pan and tilt it in all directions so that the batter completely covers the pan.

4) Cook for about a minute. Use a spatula to gently lift the edge of the crepe in order to test if it is done. You can turn the crepe when it can be shaken loose from the pan and the underside is a light brown color.

5) Turn the crepe over and then cook for about 30 seconds, or until the center is set.

6) Place the crepe on a plate. Repeat steps 3 to 6 with the remaining batter.

Ingredients:

8 Basic Crepes

1/2 Cup (About 4 Ounces) of Softened Cream Cheese

1/4 Cup of Packed Brown Sugar

1/4 Cup (About 2 Ounces) of Softened Fat-Free Cream Cheese

2 Teaspoons of Grated Orange Rind

1/8 Teaspoon of Salt

1/4 Cup of Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice

1/3 Cup of Dried Sweet Cherries

Cooking Spray

2 Teaspoons of Powdered Sugar

Instructions:

1) Preheat the over to 350 degrees.

2) In a small bowl combine together the: cream cheese, sugar, fat-free cream cheese, orange rind, and the salt. Stir this mixture until it is well blended.

3) In another bowl combine the juice and the cherries. Microwave this mix for 30 seconds. Let it stand for about 10 minutes. The drain and coarsely chop the cherries.

4) Stir the cherries into the cheese mixture.

5) Place about 3 tablespoons of cream cheese into the center of each crepe. The fold the sides and ends of the crepes over.

6) Seam side down, place the crepes into a baking dish coated in cooking spray. Cook for about 15 minutes.

7) Serve them!

Summer Fruit and Cream Cheese Crepes
Sweet Crepe Ingredients:

1 Cup of All Purpose Flour

3 Beaten Large Eggs

1 & 1/2 Cups of Milk

A Pinch of Salt

1/2 Teaspoon of Sugar

1/2 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

4 Tablespoons of Melted Unsalted Butter

Sweet Crepe Instructions:

1) In a small bowl whisk together the: flour, eggs, milk, salt, sugar, vanilla, and 3 tablespoons of the butter. Mix until the batter is smooth is thin. Then refrigerate for about 1 hour.

2) Heat a crepe pan OR a large skillet over a medium-high heat. When the pan is hot, brush in a light coat of the remaining butter.

3) Ladle in about 2 ounces of the crepe mix into the pan. Tilt the pan around to make sure the batter completely covers it.

4) Cook for about 1 to 2 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown and the top is dry. Then use a spatula to carefully flip the crepe to the other side. Leave it cooking for another 30 seconds.

5) Transfer the crepe to a plate. Then repeat steps 2 to 5 with the remaining butter.

Ingredients:

8 Sweet Crepes

1/4 Cup of Your Favorite Sweet Fruit Liqueur (Framboise, Kirschwasser, Grand Marnier)

2 Tablespoons of Cornstarch

1/2 Cup of Water

2 Tablespoons of Butter

1/2 Cup of Sugar

4 to 5 Cups of Summer Fruits (Strawberries, Raspberries, Cherries without the pits, Blackberries, Blueberries)

1 Tablespoon and 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

1/2 Teaspoon of Almond Extract

1 Pound of Cream Cheese

1/4 Cup of Powdered Sugar

2 Tablespoons of Honey

Instructions:

1) In a small bowl combine together: 2 tablespoons of fruit liqueur, cornstarch, and water. Mix them together until they are blended together well.

2) Using a 4 quart saucepan, add together the: butter, sugar, and the cornstarch mix. Heat the mix over medium-high heat until it is hot, or for about 1 minute.

3) Add in 3 cups of the summer fruits and then bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for another 3 to 5 minutes.

4) Remove from the heat and add 1 teaspoon of the vanilla and almond extract. Then stir to combine and then set the mix aside.

5) In a bowl mix together the: cream cheese, powdered sugar, honey, and the remaining tablespoon of vanilla extract. Then stir the mix until it become smooth.

6) Evenly place the cream cheese into the crepes. Then divide the remaining cups of fresh fruit evenly and place them on top of the cream cheese.

7) Gently rolls up the crepes into tight cylinders. Spoon about 2 to 3 tablespoons of the fruit sauce over the crepes.Then lightly dust them with powdered sugar.

8) Serve them!

Cinnamon Crepes with Cream Cheese and Peaches
Cinnamon Crepe Ingredients:

1/4 Teaspoon of Salt

1 Cup of Milk

1/2 Cup of Water

2 Teaspoons of Melted Butter

2 Large Eggs

1) In a bowl combine the: flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Then in a blender combine the: milk, water, melted butter, and the eggs. Then add flour mix to the milk mix.

6 Cinnamon Crepes

1 Cup of Powdered Sugar

1 Cup of Cottage Cheese

3/4 Cup of Cream Cheese

2 Teaspoons of Fresh Lemon Juice

3 & 1/2 Cups of Sliced and Peeled Peaches

1 Teaspoon of Granulated Sugar

1 Teaspoon of Amaretto

2 Tablespoons of Sliced Almonds

Instructions:

1) In a food processor combine the: sugar, cottage cheese, cream cheese, and 1 & 1/2 teaspoons of juice. Process the mix until it is smooth.

2) Spoon the mixture into a bowl. Then cover it and let it chill for 1 hour.

3) In a bowl, combine the: remaining 1/2 teaspoon of juice, peaches, granulated sugar, and amaretto. Toss them gently. Then let them stand for 15 minute before tossing them gently again.

4) Spoon 1/2 cup of the cream cheese mix into the center of each crepe. Then gently roll up the crepes. Top the crepes with 1/2 cup of the peach mixture. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of almonds on each of the crepes.

5) Serve them!
