Science in Sport (SiS), the leaders in endurance nutrition, have added two new caffeine endurance nutrition products into their SiS GO range.
PRESS RELEASE
A new SiS GO Hydro + Caffeine product has been designed to hydrate athletes during intense exercise without added calories. Available in a new Cola flavour, its 75mg of caffeine content will help athletes remain focused when it matters most.
The popular SiS GO + Caffeine Gel gets a new Cola flavour and an increased 75mg caffeine content. The renowned gels deliver energy fast and the new flavour will sit alongside the existing Berry option. The new caffeinated products provide even more options for athletes to get the most out of their endurance sport. Caffeine has also been repeatedly shown by sport scientists to improve performance by providing both a physical and mental boost just when athletes need it. In addition to altering muscle metabolism, caffeine can also have direct effects on the brain by improving reaction times and lowering our perception of effort for a given workload.
The new, improved, SiS GO + Caffeine Gel builds on the established science of the SiS GO Isotonic Gels, the world’s first Isotonic energy gel. The gel not only delivers a rapid supply of easily digestible carbohydrates (22 grams per gel) for energy, but also provides 75mg of caffeine per gel. SiS GO Hydro + Caffeine represents a cutting edge and scientifically based formulation that is designed to ensure you are effectively hydrated to produce your best performance. As an effervescent tablet that readily dissolves in plain water, it represents a highly practical approach (simply drop one tablet in your 500 ml water bottle) to ensure that all of your electrolyte and fluid requirements are met in its most simple format. SiS GO Hydro + Caffeine is a practical strategy to ensure hydration without the calories.
SiS GO Hydro + Caffeine will be available in 10 and 20-packs and priced at £3.99 and £6.99 accordingly. SiS GO + Caffeine Gels are priced at £1.79 each. Luke Heeney, New Product Director at Science in Sport said: “At SiS, we’re committed to constantly innovating new products and formulations to stay at the forefront of endurance nutrition. The SiS GO Range is one of the well-known in sports nutrition, and we’re always looking for ways to have the best offering for amateur and professional athletes.”
He continued: “With these new innovations, athletes will be able to benefit from an even wider range of endurance nutrition products to help reach their goals, combined with our nutritional expertise and advice available to customers.”
The new products and flavours will be available to buy on http://www.scienceinsport.com from Monday 2nd September 2013.
