RECENTLY launched at the drugstore is a new display of Revlon powder blushes, cream blushes and highlighting palettes that look divine!  Have you spotted the display yet?  I hadn’t picked up a Revlon blush in quite awhile and of course I just had to try one of the highlighting palettes, so today I’m sharing photos and swatches of the two products I picked up.

the packaging is beautiful!

Racy Rose Powder Blush

Racy Rose is a brightly pigmented warm pink shade with champagne shimmer.  Swatched heavily on the left, blended out on the right.  Racy Rose can be very pigmented but also blended it out if you prefer.  It is shimmery, and when blending it out it does tend to get more shimmery.  When on the cheeks it gives a soft pink glow.

Peach Glow Highlighting Palette

Peach Glow is a golden/copper/peach highlighting palette.  Above, each shade is swatched separately.

Peach Glow swatched all together.  This warm palette is soft in color but it can be built up if needed.  It is quite shimmery and I think it would look gorgeous on tanned skin!

There are several blushes included in this collection – I believe seven powder blushes and possibly two cream blushes in a variety of peaches, pinks and wines.  Also included are three Highlighting Palettes, a golden shade (in this post), a pink, and a nude palette which look so similar to the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick.  I must admit I do not have one to compare it to personally but this one just doesn’t seem to be quite as soft or pigmented as those appear online, but let me know if you’ve experienced otherwise!  To see the in-store display please visit my Instagram photo here.

Let me know if you are picking anything up from Revlon’s Cheek Boutique collection!
