The right tools and accessories can make a world of difference when it comes to makeup application, cleanup and storage. Here are a few of my top picks from the beauty tools and accessories featured on VanityRouge in 2013 – some of these I use nearly every day!

I have never met a flat foundation brush that I loved and wanted to use, until 2013! The MUFE Professional Medium Foundation Brush from the new Artisan Collection is my go-to applicator for my favorite foundation.
The Heavenly Luxe Dual-Ended Foundation Brush by ItCosmetics is perfect for for blending in my Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer (small end) and then applying finishing powder (larger end) to set it!
I decided to take the leap in experiencing my first high-end makeup brushes and purchased the Bobbi Brown Bronzer and Blush brushes. I love how soft they are, the amount of product they pick up, and how unique the shape of the blush brush is. They are two of my current favorite brushes to use on a daily basis.
I experienced the BeautyBlender early on in 2013 and I still love them! This is my go-to foundation applicator for use with thicker foundations like MUFE Mat Velvet + or Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous. It makes blending and finishing off foundation and concealer a breeze!

The Brush Guards are fabulous at reshaping my brushes, especially some of my eye brushes that tend to look a little crazy after a few washes! I’ve definitely been reaching for these all year.
In 2013 I heard a rumor that the Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps were perfect for brush cleaning and I can confirm that it is true! I’ve since picked up a bar soap version as well (I found both at Target) and I have both cleansers ready at my sink – I end up cleaning my brushes more often because it’s always out and ready to go!

I found Sephora’s Frequent Flyer Travel Set to be a perfect way to take your makeup favorites with you when you travel, but I’ve also found a another use for the air pump dispenser as well, making this set handy for home use too!
Sephora always releases fun makeup and travel bags, and I definitely loved their Fall 2013 collection. The brush roll featured on VanityRouge is so chic and handy – definitely a winner!
