Like many retail stores across the nation, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) plans to open early on Black Friday. Select Apple retail stores will open at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, November 29th.
Apple to increase Black Friday presence
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) usually holds shopping events on Black Friday with small discounts on popular products such as iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks. There will also be good deals on accessories from third party companies. Most Apple stores won’t open at 6:00 on Black Friday, instead many will open at regular store hours which vary by store. It’s best to check out your local store opening schedules here.
For those who plan on shopping at an Apple retail store on the biggest shopping day of the year, Forbes has some pointers. Gary Allen offered tips such as arriving to the store early and taking advantage of the Express Shopping tables which will be at stores through early next year. Express Shopping speeds up the process of ordering iPad tablets, iPhones, iPods, and gift cards. Shoppers can simply walk up to the table, request the item whey want to purchase, then make the payment.
New book celebrating Apple’s innovation
In other Apple news, there is a new photo book available for serious Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) fans. Jonathan Zufi released Iconic: A Photographic Tribute to Apple Innovation in October. CNN gave more details:
“The book, currently available only through its website, sells for $75, or $300 for a special edition which, along with other extras, comes with a custom-fit book case designed in a retro style inspired by Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) products of the 1970s and ’80s. It’s all an unlikely project for a software engineer with no formal photography training. Zufi bought new equipment and consulted with a professional as he began the project, which was four years in the making. All along, he focused on shooting artistic images that didn’t resemble promotional product shots.”
