Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), is presenting an exhibition showcasing the work of Pablo Picasso and Diego Rivera, two larger than life personalities in the art world. Picasso and Rivera: Conversations Across Time is on until 7 May 2017, with 150 paintings, etchings and watercolours on display. The exhibition looks at the part both played in the formation of modernism in Europe and Latin America, and also looks at their artistic trajectories, from their academic training to their shared investment in Cubism and aims to look at how their contributions were deeply influenced by the forms, myths, and structures of the arts of antiquity.
