GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB PRIMARY & SECONDARY HEALTHCARE DEPARTMENT
INVITATION OF APPLICATION FOR BECOMING PART OF THE POOL OF HEALTH MANAGERS (SECOND ROUND)
Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD) intends to establish a pool of eligible personnel, from amongst existing regular employees of Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department / Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department through a fair, transparent, competitive and merit based process. The selected officers shall be eligible to be posted against the positions of Executive District Officers or his Successor Officer, District Officers, Medical Superintendent of DHQ/THQ Hospitals & Deputy District Officers. The Qualifications, Experience and financial incentives attached with each post are as under.
Qualification
MBBS with Master's degree in Experience Monthly Pay Package (Health) or his Successor Health Administration or Public Officer Health or any other degree in Must have at least 10 01 & Medical Sciences or Management / Years relevant experience Medical Superintendent Administration / Accounts / Officers shall draw their (DHSS) Commerce from a recognized institution. regular salary as per admissible pay District Officers MBBS with Master's degree in scale/Govt. Policy. In (Health) Health Administration or Public addition, performance linked incentive02 Health or any other degree in Medical Sciences or Management / Administration / Accounts / Must have at least 05 Years relevant experience special shall also be admissible as per following scale: Commerce from a recognized institution. Rs. 80,000 for BS-20 Rs. 60,000 for BS-19 MBBS preference may be given for Rs. 50,000 for BS-18 Deputy District Officer additional Qualification such as Rs. 40,000 for BS-17 (Health) Master's degree in Health 03 & Administration or Public Health or any other degree in Medical Must have at least 02 Years relevant experience Medical Superintendent Sciences or (THOS) Management/Accounts/Commerce from a recognized institution.
General Terms and Conditions:
- In Case a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post. he/she must submit separate application form for each post.
2- Candidates can download Application Form from National Testing Service (NTS) website (www.nts.org.pk) along with the deposit slip of Rs. 500/-.
3- Advertisement can also be downloaded from the website of Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department i.e pshealth.puniab.gov.pk and from Facebook page of "Health Information & Service Delivery Unit of Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department".
4- Candidates shall submit duly filled Application Form, along with deposit slip of prescribed fee in favor of National Testing Service, copy of CNIC and two recent passport size photographs, directly to NTS through courier on the address mentioned on application form.
5- Test fee shall be paid in any branch of HBL, UBL, MCB or ABL on prescribed bank challan (attached with application form downloaded from NTS website).
6- Incomplete applications or applications carrying incorrect information shall be summarily rejected. 7- Roll No. Slips shall be separately dispatched directly to candidates by NTS at least one week before the test.
8- Last date of submission of applications to NTS is 19th September, 2016 by 1600 hours.
9- The date of written test shall be communicated to the eligible/shortlisted candidates only through NTS website.
10- "Candidates having at least 50% marks however department may decide upon any threshold over and above passing marks for further consideration in the process" in NTS test shall be deemed eligible for further consideration in the selection process
11- Candidates shall produce original documents, along with a set of attested copies of all the relevant documents, at the date/time of interview to be communicated by Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department.
12- In case of selection. Private practice shall not be allowed to the Health Managers.
13- All incumbents of these posts are encouraged to apply as the incentive package shall only be admissible to candidates selected through this process.
14- The candidates who currently don't process requisite management qualification are also eligible to apply. P&SH Department may facilitate them in obtaining requisite qualification as per policy in vogue.
15- Successful candidates may be required to undertake capacity building program, as organized by POSH Department. Successful completion of such capacity building course shall also be a requisite for inclusion in the pool of health managers.
