Judge Hatchett to be honored with the Maynard H. Jackson, Jr., Legacy Award (the “Jackson Award”) from the National Bar Association
Atlanta, Ga, July 23, 2014: Judge Hatchett was recently selected by the National Bar Association as the recipient of the prestigious Maynard H. Jackson, Jr., Legacy Award (the “Jackson Award”). Judge Hatchett was selected due to her 30+ years of esteemed work serving the needs of people and the community as a corporate lawyer, judge, author, and advocate. She will be awarded Monday, July 28th during the White Affair located at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel, beginning at 7:00pm. President Bill Clinton will give the keynote address.
The Jackson Award: Presented to an honoree for empowering the future and providing leadership of communities as did the late Honorable Maynard H. Jackson, Jr. (late Mayor of Atlanta. GA).
