* _JOB SUMMARY_*
Reporting to the* *Data Analytics Manager,** the *Architect - Data Analytics *will develop business solutions by creating new and modifying existing business intelligence solutions created on Microsoft BI platform. He/she will also design, code, test, debug, document and support SSIS/SSRS/SQL Server SP based applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. The *Architect - Data Analytics* will have to multi-task, prioritize work and work independently under aggressive timelines.
* _JOB RESPONSIBILITIES_*
* Develops end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions using SSIS/SSRS for complex business requirements that are often non-conforming and without clear precedent.
* Completes production support service requests, troubleshooting issues and batch support to ensure high levels of application availability and accuracy.
* Regular and periodic maintenance/upgrade of data warehouse SQL server, BI tools like SSIS and SSRS.
* Be the primary POC for all technical issues related to the Data warehouse solutions/Platform. Learn and support new tools on the job.
* Works with business leaders to develop detailed business requirements, creating functional design, gap analysis, technical design, and traceability matrices.
* Perform other related duties as required.
* _MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:_*
* Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Information Technology or similar field
* Eight (8) years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
* Expert development/debug skills on Microsoft SQL Server Integration services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting services (SSRS) tool.
* Strong background on T-SQL.
* Experience performing administrative tasks on SQL Server.
* Ability to develop/troubleshoot/enhance complex Stored Procedures for data loadings/transformation.
* Ability to work independently to meet objectives with aggressive timelines.
* Strong Working knowledge of other enterprise reporting tools like Tableau, Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), and BO.
* Good understanding of key IT / business systems / ERP, General Ledger, Reporting and Analytics, Data Warehousing, and CRM.
* _PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:_*
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
* Good knowledge on Business Intelligence design.
* Query Performance Tuning.
* Experience in error handling, job monitoring/reverse-engineering, notification rules, and proactive communication.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and work well in a team environment.
