*_JOB SUMMARY_*
The Software Engineer will perform professional level software design engineering assignments. These assignments are of diverse scope and moderate technical complexity.
*_JOB RESPONSIBILITIES_*
* Performs tasks in design, development and implementation of non-routine software engineering applications by following general guidelines.
* Analyzes and investigates engineering project tasks,
* Defines specifications and parameters, develops programs, and resolves any design considerations.
* Analyzes any requirements and structures and the like.
*_MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS_*
* University degree or certified technical school training and one to three years related experience or combination of both education and experience.
* Ability to comprehend simple instructions in English (written and verbal).
* Ability to apply common sense and understanding in order to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
* Able to read blueprints and electrical drawings
* Working knowledge of Siemens and Koyo PLC programming
* Strong electrical background working with machinery/automation equipment
* Understanding and troubleshooting of PCB’s
*_PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS_*
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
* Two to five years applicable software/design engineering experience or less than two years of applicable experience with Master’s degree.
* Experience working with Refrigeration equipment -requirement (EPA Universal Refrigeration Technician preferred)
* Semiconductor Industry experience a Plus
* Experience programming with C language or Ladder for temperature control system.
