Manager - HR

This role is responsible for all aspects of HR within the assigned client group reporting to the Director HR (SFC) and dotted line reporting to the Director of Engineering - Hyderabad. Responsibilities include developing and directing implementation of plans and/or programs to ensure the most effective utilization of human resources to support the business objectives. This must be accomplished within the framework of the organization’s overall corporate policies, plans and programs. This role requires a broad knowledge and involvement in all personnel areas with an emphasis on adaptation and implementation of broader organizational policies.

* Primary Responsibilities*

* Lead the ongoing development of the business culture to deliver the business goals

* Act as a business partner with business functions/leaders maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of all employees

* Adapt, develop and/or implement or adapt appropriate human resource structures, tools, policies, processes and procedures to support business strategy

* Coaching/mentoring employees in best practices

* Work in collaboration with other HR members to support all the business goals ensuring a common culture and application of HR best practice

* Lead HR processes such as performance management, compensation planning, staffing, disciplinary issues and employee relations in India as guided by the B/E Corporate.

* Lead recruitment activities across the business to source ‘best’ candidates including effective screening to optimize people’s time

* Lead the development of people enabling them to deliver their personal and team goals/objectives

* Support the implementation of business goals and objectives throughout the organization

* Work with the management team to implement effective organizational structures that support effective team working and career opportunities for high potential employees

* Ensure that all best practice and regulatory training is delivered effectively through the organization and maintain awareness of all the latest employment guidelines and regulations

* Partner in the development of business improvements with the site leadership team to implement productivity and cost improvements

* Manages and resolves internal conflicts and balances advocacy for employees with understanding of business priorities

* Performs other duties as required to develop and drive the business forward.

* Supports 200+ employees in Hyderabad.

* Direct team of 2; working closely with other site HR teams

* Staff include generalists

* Experience Level – 8 to 15 yrs.

* Broad experience within a manufacturing and engineering environment with development of teams

* Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision making

* Demonstrated knowledge of India employment law

* Must have exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities

* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Proven skills in the areas of initiative, individual leadership, teamwork, collaboration and facilitation

* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

* Ability to manage conflict, influence and negotiate with business leaders.

* Must possess a strong bias for action and a keen sense of urgency with limited guidance and superior results.

* Good IT software skill set including Microsoft Office Suite
