Our Lenexa facility specializes the production of Oxygen Life Support Systems and Galley Inserts Beverage Maker Products. Our Oxygen and Beverage Maker small parts assembly manufacturing, focuses on safety and quality products production into the field for aircraft crew and passengers.

As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a temporary *Inspector* in our *Oxygen Systems and PSU Systems* business located in *Lenexa, Kansas*.

* SUMMARY*

Reporting to the Quality Supervisor Inspects parts, assemblies and finished products to drawings and specifications.

* JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Performs non-routine visual, mechanical, functional dimensional or electrical inspection of a variety of products in the production assembly process through final system assembly.

Performs inspection tasks involving the use of a wide variety of test instruments and equipment to measure values and record functional operation of components.

Determines acceptability, identifies and recommends disposition of defective items in accordance with established procedures.

* MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

* QUALIFICATIONS*

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to use typical equipment, such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, oscilloscopes, component testers and the like.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and associates.
