Salmonella paratyfus test. For pigeons

INDICATIONS:

HOW TO USE THE TEST:

Grab the little bottle with the liquid, screw the purple cap. The cap is an accessory.

Collect the fitting a small amount of fresh droppings of the bird you want to test.
Make sure there is no urine (the white pieces in feces) in the sample. Search for share in the feces that is more green / slimy. The end of the rod has a rough profile, make sure it is completely covered with feces, but do not use "lumps" as test material.
Screw the cap on the bottle and shake until the feces are dissolved in the liquid.

Remove the testcasette from the sealed pouch.
On top of the cap is a small cover which can be removed in order to create an opening in the cap
Hold the tube vertically with the cap down, and shake 3-5 drops of the contents in the hole of the testcasette.

Wait 10 minutes before reading the test.

- If two jobs have been visible in the long window, the test is positive. In this case there were enough Salmonella bacteria are present in order to be detected.
- If only one track is visible in the long window, there is no or insufficient Salmonella present in the material.

If no Salmonella bacteria are found, repeat the test after a day or longer. The dove can be the carrier of the disease, but they have not excreted at the time of the original test.
