The Fairfield Inn & Suites Dallas West / Cockrell Hill, located at 2100 North Cockrell Hill, Dallas, TX, 75212 is currently hiring a Sales Manager.
Responsibilities include:
The newly constructed Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott is owned and operated by Countrywide Hospitality, LLC. Countrywide Hospitality is a multi-faceted management company that oversees assets in hospitality, multi-family, and restaurants. Countrywide is a small management company that is in the growth stage which allows future advancement as the company prefers to hire for upper management positions within. We are looking for self motivated, highly ambitious individuals that have an appetite for learning and upward mobility. We are looking for someone to be part of team that opens this hotel successfully, push the hotel to the highest standards possible, and grow with us enabling this to be not only a job, but a career.
· Perform duties associated with business development.
· Develop and follow a targeted action plan and update plan on a monthly basis.
· Develop, pursue and follow-through with business leads.
· Create clients by providing prospects with complete and accurate information on hotel.
· Determine client needs and possible objections; provide persuasive arguments to close the sale.
· Negotiate rates to maximize revenues.
· Develop positive working relationships with existing clients by anticipating needs and acting promptly to rectify any problems.
· Practice effective revenue/yield management to include wise negotiation, focused solicitation during soft occupancy periods and effective rate and price negotiation.
· Any additional duties as requested.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university is preferred; minimum 3 years sales manager/supervisor experience
Ideal Candidate will have:
· Proactive hospitality sales experience
