This post is for letter “S” in the 2016 ABCs of Homeschooling Through the Holidays series.
Every year my family dives into our Christmas traditions with enthusiasm. We put up the decorations, put together our “bucket list,” watch our favorite movies, and above all, keep Christ first. In our homeschooling, we take on a lighter load during the holiday season but continue with more in-depth Bible study and a few fun projects like our Christmas Lego challenges. This year, we’re looking forward to adding a fun new element to our learning: Christmas STEM activities!
STEM activities (Science Technology Engineering and Math) can be as simple or complex as you like, and appeal to multiple ages. In fact, STEM gift ideas are perfect for the kids in your life because they are fantastic for learning and play all year round! Using STEM Christmas activities during the holidays will keep you learning in a light and fun way. You’ll be creating memories while nicely supplementing your homeschool studies throughout the month of December!
