On Tuesday, Feb. 11, Owl Photography Club gathered to shoot long exposure photography at South Beach Park for their first workshop of the semester. This is the second time the photography club has come together to do this workshop. Flow artists from all over South Florida took turns performing while photographers gathered to expose their cameras properly to take photos. The artists spun fire poi, fire hoop, steel wool, and glow poi, while others used led gloves and other light toys.
Prior to the event, Robert Giordano volunteered his time to teach a workshop to help students understand long exposure photography. Giordano, owner of Design215 Inc, is a well-known South Florida photographer who has worked for many prestigious events, including Ultra Music Festival.
