1. Hello Josh, can you introduce yourself and your blog pmfldn.tumblr.com ?
I'm Josh, a 18 year-old high schooler from Pittsburgh, PA, USA. My blog, pmfldn, grew out of my budding interest in fashion in the beginning of high school, and still features mostly fashion, but also just about anything I like.
2. What are your editorial habits ? (I write my own content, someone writes for me, someone proofreads me, I take my own pictures for the blog, I post a lot of videos ect…)
I mostly reblog things, but I occasionally will post things for certain brands that get in contact with me, including Victorinox, Okuh Studios, Collabination, and others. I try to keep my blog mostly picture-based, just because it's a blog focused on aesthetics and I don't think text-based posts fit in with that.
3. How do you use social networks ? Which one do you prefer ?
I use Tumblr, Twitter, and Instagram a lot. I like Tumblr and Twitter the best because they combine humour, aesthetics, and learning, as well as other social networks.
4. What are the meaningful moments of the development of the blog ?
I think the most meaningful moment in my blog's growth was when I hit my first thousand followers. I'd only had my blog for a couple months, and it was just a bunch of random pictures I liked. I realized it could be a platform from which I could influence many, and also helped my personal self-confidence grow, as the number of people who liked what I liked was getting to be pretty substantial.
5. who's your target ?
I don't really have a specific demographic my posts are for; if you like my blog, look at it. That being said, if I had to only post for one group, it would probably be the up-and-coming group of 18- to upper-20-year olds with interests in fashion and how they look.
6. Which are the most popular categories of your blog ?
The most popular posts on my blog are probably clothing, as it is a predominantly clothing-based blog. In that, most popular brands like Nike, Supreme, Comme Des Garçons, etcetera get the most attention, but basically anything streetwear-related usually does well.
7. Where do you find inspiration ?
I usually just look around Tumblr or Instagram for inspiration as far as clothing goes, and I also like to look through brands' look books, whether they be well-established or brand new.
8. A little message for Upfluence ?
Bloggers are being more and more well-utilized as advertising methods, but I think they're still underrated. Just on Tumblr, I've seen brands start from nothing and grow into leaders just because of the influencers they selected to advertise their products. I really like Upfluence's emphasis on technology and its uses, and hope to see it continue its growth into a leader.
