Aam Aadmi Party is determined to put candidates against all the stained personalities whom they think and today they have released names of few candidates who will fight election in Lok Sabha 2014. See brief profile of AAP Lok Sabha candidates and the personalities against which they will be contesting elections.
The first list of 20 candidates has been released by Aam Aadmi Party which include Kumar Vishwas who had already declared to be contesting against Rahul Gandhi from Amethi. Many other big shots of all parties including Kapil Sibbal, Nitin Gadkari will be facing strong AAP contestants. However in this list of 20 contestants only one has been given against any strong BJP candidate.

List of AAP Lok Sabha candidates and their brief profile and biography
Here are the list of 20 candidates anoounced by AAP who will be contesting Lok Sabha election 2014. The list also contains who will contsest against whom.
Kumar Vishwas - The poet and a prominent figure of AAP, who has been controversial at times will be contesting against Rahul Gandhi from Amethi. Earlier it was assumed but now has been confirmed. Kumar Vishwas was associated with Anna Hazare during movement for Lok Pal and was one amaong the few person in creating the party.
Ashutosh - A media person who recently resigned from his job and joined AAP is fielded from Chandni Chowk constituency of Delhi against Congress big shot Kapil Sibbal. Ashutosh was a TV news reader and recently did several campaign for AAP.
Yogendra Yadav - Another core leader of AAP who was also a news reader of a popular news channel will be contesting from Gurgaon. He has also been made convenor of Haryana. Incumbent MP is Inderjit Singh of Congress.
Mukul Tripathi - He has been a social activist and worked for saving girl child and will be contesting for AAP against Foriegn Minister Salman Khursheed of Congress from Fharukhabad, UP.
Anjali Damania - She is convener of AAP in Maharashtra and will be contesting against Nitin Gadkari of BJP from Nagpur.
H.S. Phoolka - A very senior advocate of Supreme Court who was associated in legal battle for 1984 sikh riots and was supposed to be close with Shiromani Akali Dal will contest for AAP from from Ludhiana against Informationa and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari in LS 2014 election.
Medha Patkar - A social activist who was associated with Narmada river revolution will be contesting from Mumbai North East lok sabha seat against stting MP Dina PAtil of NCP, a part of UPA.
Meera Sanyal - Former CEO of Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS, India) contested in 2009 Lok sabha as an independent candidate from Mumbai South and in 2014 she is from AAP and is fielded against Milind Deora from same constituency.
Baba Hardev Singh - will be contesting the most prominent figure for PM from thrid front Mulayam Singh Yadav of SP from Lok Sabha constituency Mainpuri.
Subhash Ware - A social activist who is member of the national executive body of AAP will be contesting agaist Suresh Kalmadi from Pune.
Mayank Gandhi - Nephew of a builder Lalit Gandhi, Mayank who himself faced corruption charges, will be contesting from Mumbai Northwest against strong Congress contestant Vasant Gurudas Kamat.
Dr. Jia Lal - will be contesting from Lalgunj, UP against sitting MP Dr. Baliram of Congress.
Alok Agarwal - will contest from Khandwa, MP against sitting MP Arun Subhaschandra Yadav of Congress.
Somendra Dhaka - Prominent personality from UP and convenor of UP Somendra Dhaka will be contesting against Ajit Singh from constituency Baghpat, UP.
Habung Payeng - will be contesting from Arunachal west against Congress MP Sanjay Takam.
Yogesh Dahiya - Will be AAP candidate from lok sabha constituency Saharanpur, UP against sitting MP Jagdish Singh Rana of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).
Vijay Baliram Pandhare - Will be AAP candidate from lok sabha constituency Nashik, Maharashtra against sitting MP of Congress ally NCP Sameer Bhujbal.
Jernail Singh - He will contest against Congress big shot Maha Bal Mishra of Congress from Delhi West.
Khalid Pervez - He will be contesting from Moradabad, UP. At present cricket player Md. Azharuddin is MP but he had showed inerest in contesting from West Bengal in 2014. Probably Jaya Prada may be Congress candidate from Moradabad.
Lingraj - Will be AAP candidate contesting Lok Sabha election 2014 from Bargarh, Odisha against Sanjoy Bhai of Congress.
Out of these 20 contestants only one has been fielded against sitting BJP candidate, one against BSP and one against sitting MP of SP while 17 candidates are against sitting UPA MPs including 14 MPs of Congress, 2 MPs of NCP and one RLD. All the Congress candidates who has been facing some allegations of corruption like Suresh Kalmadi, Salman Khursheed and others will be facing a tough contest from AAP. 8 candidates are announced from UP, 6 from Maharashtra, 2 from Delhi, 1 from Haryana, 1 from Arunachal, 1 from Punjab and 1 from MP. However other list of AAP loksabah candidates may have some more prominent names which will be updated as soon as it is announced.
