Crews have been able to restore power to approximately 1,100 members at this time. Crews remain on site and are continuing to work on restoration for the remaining members.

United Power is currently experiencing an outage for members that are served by the Barr Lake Substation. The outage began at 7:07 a.m. and is affecting approximately 1,244 members. Crews are on site and have discovered an animal in the breaker. This has caused some damage to the transmission feed. Repairs will need to be made. It is estimated that approximately 2/3 of the affected members will have their power restored within the hour. The remaining 1/3 of members could be out of power longer as the remaining scope of repairs will take longer. This message will be updated as more information becomes available.
