Chucktown Ball week is here! In just a few days, Umphrey’s McGee descends on the beautiful Riverfront Park in North Charleston, South Carolina for the Second Annual Chucktown Ball. Join us this Friday and Saturday, September 23rd and 24th, for a full blown Umphrey’s McGee event with two nightly sets of UM preceded by very special guests Moon Taxi and Dead 27s on the 23rd; and The Floozies, Dangermuffin, and The Hip Abduction on the 24th.

In addition to an incredible musical line-up, make sure to stop by and support the various local food vendors and artisans joining us this weekend. Food trucks include Home Team, Roti Rolls, Platia, Roadside Seafood, Rebel Taqueria, Scoop, SnoBar, and KOP. Area artisans include Love Double J, Manik Apparel, Nectar, Artisan Tees, My Bud Vase, Foat Designs, Teri Whitner Art, and Old Whaling Co.
Limited space available for Chucktown Ball Charity Golf Tournament
On Sunday, September 25th join us first ever charity golf tournament, where attendees play alongside members of Umphrey’s McGee and other special guest musicians.
In addition to our Longest Drive, Longest Putt, and Closest to the Pin, our friends at Baker Motor Company’s Land Rover West Ashley are hosting a Hole-In-One contest for a chance to win a lease on a Land Rover! That is right, knock it in the hole and drive away in a new Land Rover. We wil also have a few surprises along the way, so keep your eyes peeled, and hit ’em straight.
This day of golf and revelry tees off at 1:00 pm and is followed by an extended cocktail reception with local legend Home Team BBQ, beverages galore, a robust silent auction and raffle, awards ceremony, and local entertainment. This event is proud to support the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital for their continued miraculous work for the children of South Carolina.
Be a Chucktown Baller
Let UM take you to church, literally, with a private set in the “Eternal Father of the Seas” chapel Saturday afternoon on the grounds of Riverfront Park. This option is available as part of our umVIP ticket upgrade and includes tickets to each show, a private lounge and bar showing SEC football, preferred viewing, a meet-and-greet with the band, open bar and BBQ provided by Smoke, bourbon samplings from Four Roses Bourbon, and a signed poster by Baker Prints.
