Marine Iguana is also known with the common name called American iguana. According to its structure, it is included in arboreal and placed in herbivorous species of lizard which is included in genus Iguana. Talking about its locality, it is belonged to Central and South America and also found at some level from Caribbean.

According to reports, this animal is simply called as iguana and green iguana ranges from very large geographic territory. It is also found in Southern Brazil as well as in Paraguay. Talking about north, it is found in Mexico and in some islands of Caribbean. Talking about taxonomy and etymology, iguana was firstly officially described from Swedish. There were one scientist and botanist with the name of Carl Linnaeus in 1758.

They further told about the iguana as in two countries at that time, there were numerous sub species which have been identified regarding iguana. It was further found as there were also many other classified iguana species which were different at region level. Some scientists also used nuclear and mitochondrial DNA sequence only to know the phylogenic history of green iguana. There were also some scientists from Utah Valley State College, they were studying in animals and they collected from 17 different countries.

According to them, the topology of phylogeny clearly tells about the species as it originated in South America and then it was moved through central American and then from there to Caribbean. They also had some study in which they found no mitochondrial DNA which could have sub specific status. They further told about iguana as it had very unique and deep divergence in its lineage when it moved from Central American to South America.

In the given footage, it can be seen in what ways, he was feeding for himself and searching from different places. According to scientists, it also move from Central America to South American just for feeding purpose and then from there to Caribbean.  It did not wait for a while during getting its nutrition. He continued to move through the whole time which was really amazing to see iguana.
