THIS IS GOING TO BE MY FIRST AND HOPEFULLY NOT LAST MASS POST!
As most people may know, I went to a few events here in
Japan. On February 11th-13th I attended two fan club
events with U-KISS and on the 12th, I went to the Royal Pirates
fanmeeting/concert. BUT I will write about my “Royal Pirates” experience in
another post! ^^ So…..with that said…..LET’S GET STARTED!
Oh, just a quick back story.
For the fan signing event AKA “サイン会” you have to be a member of
U-KISSs’ fanclub to apply. I’m sure this
applies to most fanclubs in Japan and in Korea.
It wasn’t too hard to grab tickets .
I wanted to receive autographs from my two biases in the group including
another member. So…I applied for
Soohyun, Kevin, and Jun’s autograph sessions.
For each member of U-KISS…(MINUS Eli-he had another schedule that day)
they had two autograph session time slots.
You could apply for a numerous amount of sessions!l lol If you’re a broke fan-like myself….you could
just apply for one ticket for one time slot! XD LOL OTL Anyway, before the
event , the fans were requested to bring 3 things: 1) Membership card 2)ID with address included etc/Passport 3) Winning email
If you did not have those things on the day of the event,
you would not be allowed to participate.
Luckily, I triple checked my items before I left! O_O Whew! So if there are
any new foreign KISSmes in Japan rn- I’m just sharing this info with you just
in case you can’t understand the Japanese! ^^;
NOW LET’S FASTFORWARD TO THE MEETING~
So as usual, I went to the venue SUPER early. Lol Jun and Soohyun’s 1st session was scheduled at 11am. This meant that the both of them would be present, but
fans would have to be in separate lines
for each member. Hoon and Kiseop were paired up for a later session and poor
Kevin was by himself. ;_____;
Because this was a “fan signing” I put some effort into my
appearance lol This is was my look for the day lol
I really wanted to look nice
because I had a feeling that the members would be able to have a small chat with
the fans. At the concert (HIGH-TOUCH)
sessions-it’s too short and you can only greet them with a “Hello!” lol! So yea, I got up at 6 am for an 11am event to
do my hair and make-up lol #thirstyorNAH
Even with my early morning prep, it ended up being a fail because
the event started an hour later and it pushed back the other sessions. While I didn’t mind waiting with other fans
and making new friends-IT WAS SUPER COLD! The flats I had on for that day were definitely
not made for cold weather. ;___; My feet
literally became numb to the cold. It was terrible-but I dealt with it because I
knew I would be meeting the guys in a matter of time. The staff finally allowed us to go into the
mall and prepare for the meeting a little after 12 noon.
I’m like “OMG, OMG. The moment is almost here!” I was super
nervous and I was checking my make up like the other fans…lol I also made sure
to have my name tag (in Korean) pinned on my shirt. I was set on having them REMEMBER my name
CORRECTLY this time lol! XD When the first 10 or 15 fans lined up in the
meeting room, we were all shocked see how close we would be to the members. There was a table
with white paper, a few markers, a beverage and a stack of U-KISS “Kissing to
Feel” cards for the members to sign. I patiently
waited in Jun’s line. To my right, Soohyun’s fans formed their line. I’m like….
“I feel guilty….but I’ll see him at the 2nd session!”
To my left, there was an entrance and we knew that the
member would be walking through shortly.
I was right next to it, so my nerves were about to go haywire lol So after a couple of minutes, Soohyun and Jun
GRACED US with their presence! I was so shocked-they were dressed in their suit
and ties from the “Kissing to Feel” MV and WOW they were EXTREMELY HANDSOME~ I’m
like: “WHHHY YOU DO DIS?!” It felt like a date-but unfortunately, it wasn’t! (OTL) “ALL THE SINGLE LADIES”~ ………Sorry.
Soohyun and Jun greeted the fans and the autograph session
started~ While I was waiting for my turn, I was thinking of all the thing I
could say to Jun. I’m like GOD…idk why I’m
nervous, it’s not my first time meeting him.
I think I was more nervous bc I would be meeting him face-to-face and
actually have a conversation with him and two more members.
So! My time finally comes and the first thing I said was :
“Jun, Annyeong!” (I’m a dork I know…) He smiled and said:
“Hello!” (In English) He then looked at my name tag and said
my name. hngh~ my heart…so cute
I’m sorry to say, that I forgot most of the conversation, but
I do recall him saying “Happy New Year” and “See you” and some other key things
that I can’t remember due to my terrible memory….OTL ;___; but what surprised
me the most is that Jun’s English….IS AMAZING! I was going to speak in Japanese, but we had a full conversation in English and I really need to know if he is receiving
help from Kevin and Eli, or is he studying on his own time….? Hmmmm Lol thank
you Jun-that’s means a lot to me and the rest of us English-speaking KISSmes! I was so into the convo, that I forgot to tell
congratulate him on his “coming of age day” ;___; I’ll tell him the next time I see him! That was more than I expected and I hope more
fans can show Jun some love-he is really sweet and very hardworking!
I was quite satisfied on how my meeting went with Jun! Little did I know, that it was only the beginning of more exciting things to come with Soohyun and Kevin! ^^ Part 2 will be up for later! THANKS FOR READING!
