Hi all ..not sure if this is the right thread but cant see anywhere else so apols if its wrong....

Ive been living in my caravan for some 8 years and to date have had the benefit of being able to stop for longer periods when I choose, at a farm in Warwickshire, near Rugby.

Unfortunately this option will finally end within a couple of months :eek:and although I travel around a fair bit and often use camping and caravaning club certified sites or go wild camping in Scotland I still need to find somewhere to be able to park up for longer periods without being moved on,in order to work on and complete vehicle maintenance, work etc..or stay during winter

so Im looking for a farm or similar park up where Im free to stop for a while and regularly if needs be.I'm also happy to look at staying on land or farm in exchange for helping around the place if someone here owns or runs such a property and struggling on their own.I can operate most machinery - tractors, JCBs, mini-diggers and drive trucks, artics etc and I'm pretty fit though having an industrial injury I have my off days and I cannot do prolonged low level work. I am happy around large livestock -cows horses etc Im currently looking after 5 shire horses and there isnt much fazes me.

I need it to be in a very rural or coastal location and nowhere near towns cities or main roads. I like peace and quiet, a wildlife lover, I work part time freelance and most importantly I have my hanimules to consider (dog and cats).Iit can be literally anywhere in the UK -though I have a preference for the North of England ,West or mid Wales,Devon or Cornwall Western Scotland, but all remote or rural areas considered.

If anyone has any suggestions of locations- land, farms etc or prepared to share a spot theyre currently

parked up on, with a partially insane old fart :insane:(that would be me by the way)-partially may or may not be an understatement - or to perhaps co rent somewhere suitable-smallholding, land, woodland etc for small sustainable living project but where neither is under each others feet I would be only too pleased to hear and consider suggestions.

Thanks in advance :peace:
