The world of tyre polymers is constantly evolving. Over the last few years, tyre manufacturers have been innovating with the basic tyre mixture to make tyres not only ecologically-viable, but superior in performance. The World Rubber Summit 2015 is designed to do just that.



About The World Rubber Summit 2015

In order to keep industry professionals, researchers and tyre companies in the loop, the World Rubber Summit was designed to showcase the latest in the world of tyre rubber. The Summit is a joint effort between the International Rubber Study Group and SingEx Exhibitions and it will be held in Singapore. The Summit will also be a key part of the ‘World Rubber Week’ being held world-wide.

The two day program will cover all issues related to the tyre and tyre rubber industry including strategic, policy-led issues that will influence the industry in the near future. The theme for the conference is expected to be “Productivity and Sustainability for Tomorrow’s market – what drives it?” Key topics that will be discussed include the global demand for natural rubber in the coming years, the rubber supply chain for the tyre industry, the future growth of the rubber industry, and economic development in China and India and how it will impact the tyre industry.

The exhibition will see CEOs, COOs, and key officers from industries like SR Producers, rubber and latex producers, rubber traders and importers, rubber packers and logistical professionals, commodities analysts, rubber hedge fund managers, rubber futures exchange managers and government officials who will be in charge of rubber associations and organizations.

The primary attractions for the entire event are the keynote speakers. Dr. A. Jayathilak, Chairman, Rubber Board of India, will be giving the keynote address. This will be followed by seminars given by industry professionals like Richard Kramer, Chairman of the Board and CEO, Goodyear; Pete Kelly, Managing Director, LMC Automotive; Dr. Tamara Henderson, Senior Economist, Bloomberg LP; David Shaw, Head of Research, Tire Industry Research, United Kingdom; and many more.

Other Programs

The World Rubber Summit is just one of the events being held during this period of time. From 24th March to 26th March, there will be several events being held as a part of World Rubber Week in Singapore. The World Rubber Summit will range from 24th March to 25th March while the Rubber Exchange Forum will be held on 24th March. The Forum is an integral part of the World Rubber Week and it will cover rubber futures trading in the context of global trading and pricing. From 24th to 26th March, more than 5000 regional trade professionals will be attending the TyreExpo Asia. The Expo will have more than 250 exhibitors and their stalls. The Expo is designed to be a business platform for suppliers and trade professionals to connect.

The World Rubber Summit 2015 has been held in conjunction with the Rubber Exchange Forum, the World Rubber Week, and The TyreExpo Asia 2015.
