As you can probably tell from my blog name, I live in Texas. Which means we basically have two seasons, winter and summer. We might be blessed with a few cool days between the transition but as soon as that sun decides to come out it quickly heats up to the 90-100s. Summertime is the time of year that we really enjoy going outside but even 5 minutes outside can leave you with a nasty sunburn if you aren’t prepared. That’s why I make sure my kids are evenly coated in protective sunscreen like Babytime! Sunny Sunscreen.
Babytime! Sunny Sunscreen is a lightweight, non greasy, broad spectrum sunscreen that moisturizers and is waster resistant for up to 80 minutes. It’s enriched with aloe and organic green tea extracts that helps protect the skin from IR damage. The SPF of the sunscreen is 35 which helps protect from harmful UVA/UVB rays.
It’s ideal for people from age 0- 150 so it’s great for moms of young babies and mom also. That makes going to the lake so much easier for me. I don’t have to carry multiple kinds of sunscreen which leaves more room in my bag for fun items such water toys. I love how it’s water resistant for up to 80 minutes because the only way to beat the Texas heat is to be in water. We spend about 75% of our summers in some body of water wether it’s at a creek, lake, splash pad, or our own above ground pool. So a water resistant sunscreen is the only type we will use.
Another great feature of the Babytime! Sunny Sunscreen is it’s non-greasy and once you rub it in, it becomes transparent on your skin. It doesn’t leave you three shades paler then you were before you put on sunscreen. It also has a very faint sunscreen scent which is a huge bonus for me because that strong sunscreen smell usually gives me a migraine.
It is recommend to use Babytime! Sunny Sunscreen within 15 minutes of sun exposure and reapply either after 80 minutes of swimming/sweating, immediately after towel drying, or every 2 hours.
I can rest assured that Babytime! Sunny Sunscreen will protect myself and my three daughters from the harsh Texas summer. And they won’t complain about it every time I have to reapply because it goes on really easy and doesn’t smell.
