When it comes to doing my daily beauty routine shaving my legs and underarms is not one of my favorite things to do. I am sure that most women feel exactly the same way that I do! While I like my legs to feel silky smooth and have no signs of stubble…I find it to be a time consuming task that I just would rather not do.
Well, that all changed for me when I received a few cans of the Pure Silk Rich & Luxurious Shave Cream to review for all of you! I have to admit, I have never tried this brand before this review and Wow….I was really missing out on something good!

My Thoughts: As I previously explained in this post, I am not a fan of shaving my legs but do it every day to avoid stubble. Usually I use a shave gel but was excited to give this shave cream a try. One of the things I like at this shaving cream is that it’s really easy to use! You simply press the button and the shave cream comes flowing out! I have been using it for over 10 days now and not once did it ever get clogged up.
Next, I love how it lathers up! It gets nice and foamy on your legs and clings to them. It wasn’t runny and running down my legs before I could shave them and it really stayed put nicely. The fragrance is fantastic and out of all of the ones I was sent for review I have 2 favorites ~ the Raspberry Mist and the Kiwi Berry Bliss! Oh my gosh….heavenly smelling shave cream!!! Finally, I loved how moisturized and silky soft my legs felt after using the Pure Silk Shave Creams! Yes folks, I have a new favorite shaving cream in this house!
The company wanted me to pass along some shaving tips to all of you and here they are!
· Wet your skin – While hot water can remove moisture from your skin, make sure to use a cooler water temperature while shaving.
· Protect your skin – Apply aloe-enriched Pure Silk Shave Cream onto the area to be shaved. The ingredients in Pure Silk Shave Cream help you get a close, long-lasting shave.
· Use a sharp razor – Using a dull razor may cause nicks, razor burns or irritated skin. Make sure to also frequently rinse your razor to help you achieve a smooth finish.
· Choosing the right path – Shave upward. Curved areas are prone to nicking, make sure to go slowly around these parts.
· Moisturize – Pure Silk has moisturizing aloe to help prevent dryness and keep your legs soft.
I am really impressed with this line of shave cream and I would like to thank Pure Silk for sending them to me! I would love to see a new scent come out in the future like a coconut, banana and pineapple scented one which would remind me of the tropics!
