While shopping at the walkway for some videos in Nova Scotia, Robb, a father of two aged 41 years old spotted a little kid choose the movie “Where Hope Grows.” The film is about a person with a Down syndrome. After reading the outside of the movie casing, he asked his dad what down syndrome was. This attracted Robb’s attention as he had a son aged 5 years who had Down syndrome, so he wanted to hear the answer the dad was to give.
It was clear that the dad never knew how to explain to his son properly, as he said that it was some sickness of which people don’t know anything.
The explanation the dad he gave the son made Robb want to intervene and explain what the condition really was as the boy seemed to have five years as his own kid. He saw the urge to give him that detailed explanation which will make the little boy understand what it is.
However, he did not get to explain it to the little boy and as he was out of the store, he felt guilty of not having done it. This made him get into his car and filmed a touching clip using his phone.
Robb and Kelly have two sons — 7-year-old Griffin and 5-year-old Turner. Turner has Down syndrome.
