Rural Rhythm's compilation 25 Bluegrass Classics: Vintage 60's - Songs of Rural America rips through a whole mess of fun and rollicking traditional bluegrass songs from the likes of Don Reno, Hylo Brown, Vassar Clements, and Red Smiley & the Bluegrass Cut Ups. These long-forgotten down-home gems have been overshadowed by the bigger names of the era (Flatt & Scruggs, Bill Monroe, Jim & Jesse, Osborne Brothers), but hopefully the release of this disc will bring more attention to these artists.
