Sleuthing garage sale maven Jennifer Shannon uses her keen treasure hunting eye to investigate a haunting death in “Garage Sale Mystery: The Deadly Room,” a Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Original World Premiere tonight, Aprill 1, (9pm ET/PT, 8C).

Lori Loughlin (“When Calls the Heart,” “90210”) stars in this third installment of the thrilling “Garage Sale Mystery” series alongside Steve Bacic (“When Calls the Heart”), Sarah Strange (“Honor Student”) and Kevin O’Grady (“Heavenly Match”). The “Garage Sale Mystery” movies are based on the book by author Suzi Weinert.

“We are so fortunate to work with treasured Crown Media family member, Lori Loughlin, as we bring a third ‘Garage Sale Mystery’ movie to the screen,” said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming, Crown Media Family Networks. “She continues to bring Jennifer Shannon to life as a strong, compelling, inspirational character, and one who will have viewers riveted while she pieces together the mystery of ‘The Deadly Room’.”

Jennifer Shannon uses her sharp eye when finding rare garage sale treasures to resell at the consignment store she owns with business partner, Dani. When her friend dies trying to disprove rumors that a multi-million dollar home she is trying to sell has a deadly curse, Jennifer puts these intuitive skills to the test. Though a police investigation led by Detective Lynwood finds no evidence of foul play – even on the webcam footage from the night of the death – Jennifer has an ominous feeling that her friend has been murdered. Putting her keen instincts to work, Jennifer researches the history of deaths that all occurred in the room where her friend died, and examines a few key suspects with motives to murder. Jennifer’s husband Jason worries about her safety, but supports her efforts as she continues to investigate. As Jennifer uncovers clues that bring her closer to the truth, she also puts her own life in danger.

“Garage Sale Mystery: The Deadly Room” is a Bargain Street Productions III Ltd. Production. Jonathan Axelrod, Harvey Kahn, Alan Ett and Peter DeLuise are the executive producers. Peter DeLuise directs from a script by Walter Klenhard based on the novel Garage Sale Stalker by Suzi Weinert.
