The Walking Dead Survivors Learn What Life is Like 30 Days Free From Attack

AMC’s season 4 premiere of The Walking Dead is just a few short weeks away. When we left off the survivors from Woodbury had moved into the prison with Rick & Co. Carl wasn’t a fan of the idea, but the season 4 premiere title is “30 Days Without an Incident,” which leaves me to believe that Walkers and humans haven’t been starting any problems with one another. Last season Rick struggled with his leadership role in the wake of Lori’s death, but this season will find himself in charge of a much bigger group. Who will Rick ask to step up as his second in command, and have we seen the last of The Governor are questions viewers have asked since the season 3 finale. Finally, the wait is almost over!

In the first episode still below Daryl and Carol are looking quite cozy. Could this be the romance many of the fans have been waiting to develop finally coming to fruition? Well, not sure about that. These two have been steadily growing closer since season 2, and while Daryl does have his arm around carol’s shoulder I don’t see anything remotely romantic in either of their expressions or postures. In the second episode still, Tyrese investigates a military tent and whatever he discovers appears to surprise him. I can’t quite tell if those are cots in the foreground, but if you look closely it does kind of look like there’s someone there. Here’s hoping he’s also found a cache of weapons and ammo.

The group lives an ideal life at the prison, and strives to hold onto humanity.
