Talented television actress Jennifer Winget, who rose to fame by her role of Kumud in Saraswatichandra is now returning back with the new show on Sony television Beyhadh. Jennifer started her career with a small appearance in the movie Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya and Kuch Naa Kaho. She then starred in Shaka Laka Boom Boom. After her stint in Ekta’s famous show Kasautii Zindagii Kay, there was no looking back for the actress.
Her next major role was in Star Plus’ Sangam and Kahin To Hoga. She also showed her acting prowess in comedy genre by becoming part of many comedy shows. She then starred in Star One’s Dill Mill Gayye. Her role of Dr. Riddhima Gupta has won millions of hearts and she got in the race of hit lead actresses. She also became part of dance reality shows. Finally, her character in Saraswatichandra got her all everything in her career. Jennifer has won the best actress award – Jury in Indian Television Academy Awards for the show Saraswatichandra. Her character was very positive and of a extreme romantic lover, which was loved by audience. Everyone remembers Jennifer as Kumud and wanted to see her back on small screen soon. The actress took a break from tv shows and appeared in the movie Phir Se opposite Kunal Kohli.
Jennifer’s fans would be much delighted for her comeback in a romantic thriller. Beyhadh is much awaited and did not get any airing date till now. The show is waiting to get the prime time slot and may air in August 2016. It is a love story with a thriller side, which presents two different shades of love, one driven by obsession and other proving selflessness and purity. Jennifer plays a grey shade in the show. She has never done a negative role before, but this show will mark the actress’ different persona on the screen.
It is something new for the audience to see their sweet girl next door in a sociopath’s role. Her character Maya is of a sweet, enticing, and smart girl. She can fascinate anyone and make the person fall for her. Her smile looks innocent and person won’t know what runs in her mind. Maya’s character is very complex and interesting to see. Viewers will be seeing Jennifer in ‘Snakes in Suits’ avatar. Jennifer will be a having personality disorder and present herself as the goody girl infront of her love interest Arjun. Arjun would not know her truth of her antisocial behavior.
The show stars Kushal Tandon as the male lead opposite Jennifer. Kushal was seen in Star Plus’Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and Bigg Boss. He is playing double role of twin brothers in the show. Both his characters will be complex and different, and related to Maya. The show looks promising by the promo. The promo got an insight into the story and the lead actors Kushal and Jennifer’s chemistry. They look awesome together and sparkle the screen. As seen in promo, the pandit warns Arjun and Maya about their difficult married life.
Maya’s obsession for Arjun is shown, by her reaction towards the pandit. She burns the pandit’s hut to take revenge for his inauspicious words. The show brings morale, that hatred or love, nothing is good when it goes over the limit. The viewers will like Beyhadh’s concept certainly. It’s a great story for Jennifer’s return and we wish the fans like every bit of Jennifer’s on screen presence like before.
