Hey guys looking for tips for completing power tour 2014. About 2700 miles in 10 days. My 85 daytona is heavily modified, specs will be at the end of the post. I will be running the engine on low boost for 99% of the trip, probably no more than 10-12 psi.

I'm cheaping out and waiting till 2015 to get a new trans so right now I'm using the stock a413 (65k miles) with a new pump, new high stall torque converter, fresh fluid/filter. This is the main reason I'm keeping the boost down, so I don't blow up the tranny!

I'm a bit concerned about keeping the vehicle cool. I've heard that some people have issues with keeping their car cool on long trips once heavily modified. Should I look into a custom aluminum radiator (cant really afford right now) or will the TII radiator I have be OK if I keep the boost down and don't beat the tar out of it?

My buddy is going in his 66 charger which has done 2 long hauls, and its his DD, so its really reliable. He will help me cart around allot of the spare parts/tools.
