{Every week, I share a roundup of 10 happy links that I think are worth reading, listening to, or scrolling through. I hope you like them, too!}

1. This is rad: Women Rock Project.

2. I loved Sarah Von Bargen’s idea of hosting in-person retreats. I need more “more face to face Internet friend nerd outs.”

3. I’m working with the lovely Amanda Sandlin on a new logo for RowdyKittens. I can’t wait to share it with you! Stay tuned.

4. And speaking of Amanda, she’s been sharing beautiful art on Instagram. I love her At Wild Woman series. It’s so inspiring.

5. My amazing sister-in-law, Tina, has a new book out! It’s called Romancing the Null. I purchased a print copy last week, and I can’t wait to read it.

6. Esmé Weijun Wang’s new website is beautiful!

7. My friend Dee Williams is doing something awesome this summer. As Dee said, “I’m planning to raise money this summer by hiking a section (or two) of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) as a participant in the Team in Training with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Some people run marathons, others do triathalons. Me, I’m hiking and thinking about my dad, one step at a time. Again, asking isn’t easy for me, but I’m doing it anyway.”

8. Manoush Zomorodi is the host and managing editor of Note to Self. It’s one of my favorite podcasts, and I enjoyed their latest challenge—“Infomagical.” If you’re struggling with information overload, I highly recommend participating in the project.

9. Inspiring thoughts on writing, journaling, creativity, and productivity: What happened when I used my own journal for a month.

10. I was going share a book round-up every month in 2016, but I decided to ax the series because it felt forced and not fun. I’ll continue to share book recommendations in my weekly Happy Links round-up, though. Below are links to books I read and loved in February:

– The Crossroads of Should and Must by Ella Luna

– How to Be Alive by Colin Beavan

– Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World by Cal Newport

– The Whole 30 by Melissa and Dallis Hartwig

– Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End by Atul Gawande

– Gratitude by Oliver Sacks

– Treat Your Own Back by Robin McKenzie

And last but not least, check out my new Tumblr website. The site collects my favorite books in one place. I’ll continue adding good reads to the website throughout the year.

Happy reading, friends!

With gratitude,

Tammy
