After few changes in Gurukul previous notification, the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has released a pre – notification on 13/04/2017 (Thursday) with respect to approval from state government.

Final notification confirms 7.306 posts
Online Application starts from 18th April 2017.
TSPSC Gurukul Notification Under Below Rules and Regulations:
Recruitment under NCTE rules and restrictions.
State government accepted 40% aggregate in Degree course for SC, ST, BC and PHC candidates.
Open category candidates must have aggregate 50% in Degree course.
Com and P.G Public Administration candidates are also applicable.
Now D.Ed. candidates are eligible – State government added D.Ed. after several requests from candidate’s sources.

Almost Nine notifications occurred in previous on this Gurukul recruitment process and finally, the re- notification has been confirmed by TSPSC authorities on 13/04/2017 by Telangana State (TS) Chief Minister K. Chandra Sekhar Rao.
Previous notification has 60%-degree cut-off rule of all posts and notification has cancelled after attempting mob strikes by candidates with help of Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) led by chairman Professor Kodanda Ram. Prof. Kodandaram requested review on Gurukul notification for percentage criteria is not acceptable due to 60% cut-off is many loss for candidates who are in row.
After job hunting mob strike, the TS state CM has come under row and cancelled Gurukul Notification and ordered to TSPSC authorities to review on 60% eligibility and experienced criteria.
The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) asked to Telangana government to conduct the Teacher recruitment as per NCTE rules and regulations Act. Based NCTE Act. The degree holder must have 50% (OC candidates) and 40% for other than OC candidates.
For TGT posts, a candidate must have B.Ed. degree with TET qualification
Now TSPSC authorities pre-released notification after NCTE and state educational department orders and authorities obeyed 40% and 50% eligibility criteria and recruitment start in the month of April, 2017 and TSPSC invited all candidates who are eligible under new eligibility criteria rules and regulations from April 18th Onwards.
